I am so excited that Young Living has a makeup line that I can use without worry. It is mineral makeup that is actually good for your skin. It doesn’t have the following ingredients (that many store bought products have):
- NO talc
- NO bismuth
- NO parabens
- NO phthalates
- NO petrochemicals
- NO synthetic fragrances
Additionally, it is gluten-free, cruelty-free and vegan (aside from the beeswax in the lip products). It is also lead-free and doesn’t use any fake dyes.
You don’t have to sacrifice your health for beauty. Let me know if I can answer any questions you have about the makeup or essential oils. I want to help as many people as I can remove toxins from their homes and I know this is a great way to do so.
Misting spray is used with the mineral makeup to help distribute and set it. It gives you a smooth, velvety finish.
The beginning of it all! The foundation makes your skin smooth, evens out your skin tone and gives you a radiant look. It is light on your skin, so you don’t even notice it is there. You can apply as little or as much as you’d like.
You can even double it as a concealer. You can also mix it with your moisturizer to make it a liquid foundation.
Bronzer and Veil
Give yourself a little kiss of sun or a slight sparkle with these two beauties.
The blushes are subtle, but rich. They make your face look healthier just by adding a little bit.
Eyes & Brows
The eyes and brows options let you go as dark or light as you want. You can use the Misting Spray to get a darker look. You can also foil the eye shadows to create a custom look.
Also, the eye shadows and blushes contain a cosmetic-grade titanium dioxide, which means it won’t go into your bloodstream like traditional eye shadows. I didn’t even know that was a thing!
Just look at these lipsticks! The colors are so pretty. They are subtle, yet make a statement. My favorite lip gloss is Abundant. The lip gloss has Peppermint in them so it has a hint of flavor.
How do you use the make up?
If you are like me, you need a little help in how to actually use the make up. Before I started using this line I’d never used mineral makeup before. I am loving the way it looks, but it did take me a bit of time to get used to it. It is different than the Clinique make up I used to use.
