Life doesn’t have to be as difficult as we are making it. Why do we feel the need to overexert ourselves to the point of exhaustion? And for what? A couple more dollars on our paycheck? A pound or two down on the scale? A smaller size of pants? A job promotion? Why do we push so hard? What is our end goal?
I think it is human nature to push yourself. I think that most people aren’t happy with the status quo. I think that being content is a fleeting thought. How many people do you know, yourself included, that are really happy with where they are in life right now? There’s probably a small minority that don’t want a little more, to do something a little better, to have a new job, relationship, or status in life. So, because being happy with where you are is so hard to attain you work your tail off so that you can move ahead to the next goal. When you reach the next goal there’s another. And another. We are constantly on a wheel and as we get close to something there’s something else in our sights.
Because we are always looking for more and never truly resting we need help to keep our bodies going and performing where we expect them to perform. I realized I needed help with this and I found a solution: Endoflex. I started using Endoflex a couple of weeks ago and I am already benefiting from the essential oil.
WHAT IS IT? Endoflex is an essential oil blend containing spearmint, sage, geranium, myrtle, German chamomile, and nutmeg. It supports the endocrine system which regulates our metabolism, sexual function, sleep, and our mood!!! That’s a pretty important system in the body right? (Especially with all the food and products we use/have used that have endocrine disruptors in them. I don’t know about you, but I have lots to undo and support.)
A great place to apply Endoflex is right over the thyroid area. I use a roller bottle with Endoflex in it and roll it over my thyroid. By supporting the endocrine system the pineal, pituitary glands, and adrenal glands are given some love and we feel more energized and experience less mood swings. Let me tell you, that doesn’t just benefit me. It benefits everyone around me.
I also use the roller bottle over my lower back on my liver and kidney areas. For an extra boost, I take two drops of Endoflex Vitality internally. This is a game changer – taking it internally! Endoflex Vitality is the Young Living line of products that the FDA deems okay to ingest. Endoflex is most definitely one of the BIGGEST blessings I have found since learning about Young Living and their products.
HERE’S MY DAILY ROUTINE = Endoflex applied topically on my thyroid area of my neck and sometimes if I feel extra draggy I put it on my wrists and behind my ears. I also put a drop under my tongue in morning and around 2-3 pm in the afternoon. (It doesn’t taste awesome but you get used to it.)
WHY THAT TIME? Between 2-3 p.m. usually our adrenals need support. That’s why we typically crave caffeine, sugar and/or carbs in the late afternoon. I try to stay ahead of the slump/cravings by using Endoflex at 2 – and it WORKS!
One of the great things about Endoflex is that you can use it on kids too. It helps children when they are in pre-teen hormone changing body times. It also helps regulate emotions in kids of all ages.
DO YOU NEED ENDOCRINE SUPPORT?
Do you understand what endocrine support is? I didn’t in the beginning, so here’s some high level information.
The Endocrine System consists of the following:
PITUITARY GLAND : produces hormones that affect growth, metabolism, fertility, sex drive, cortisol production, and oxytocin production.
THYROID GLAND : produces hormones that regulate metabolic rates, heart function, digestive function, muscle control, brain development, and bone health. This little gland produces hormones that are vital to almost every single organ function.
ADRENAL GLANDS : produce hormones that help your body react to stress (hello adulting!), control blood sugar, burn protein and fat, and control blood pressure.
PANCREAS : produces insulin, secretes digestive juices to help digest food, and converts the food we eat into the fuel we need to function.
PINEAL GLAND : produces melatonin (hello better sleep!)
OVARIES/TESTES: reproductive health and function.
Thanks for the anatomy lesson you say, but how does this essential oil blend help me? Here’s how the oils in Endoflex support the Endocrine system:
🌱 Spearmint – A rocket pack for your metabolism while support your nervous system to bring beautiful balance
🌿 Sage – Commonly used for purification and release of the negativity that wears us down from the inside.
🌺 Geranium – Say “I love you” to your hormones, liver, and pancreas with some floral TLC.
🌱 Myrtle – You say “Thyroid?” I say, “Myrtle!” Pair them together and watch the beautiful friendship begin.
🌿 German Chamomile – Calming to your system and especially supportive of healthy liver function
🚗 Nutmeg – And this is your adrenal support. Very much like a car that can’t shift into the next gear or run properly, with our adrenals worn out, we will sputter and have no energy to reach our top speeds or drive around each day.
I hope as you feel yourself getting more and more burnt out trying to get ahead, you will look to this essential oil blend to help you stay ahead of the game. Let me know if you have any questions!
