Talking about oils

Last night I went to a YLEO 101 class. I was just planning on going to give a some moral support to my friend who was leading the class. It turned out that she needed more than moral support – she needed me to talk too. At first I was nervous thinking that I didn’t really know what to say.

The goal of the class was to talk about the oils that come in the Premium Starter Kit. There were three of us and each of us talked about four oils. When it came time for me to talk about the oils that I had the cards for I was amazed that I had no trouble at all coming up with things to say about each of them. I use them in some fashion pretty much every day. They are part of my routine. I realized as I was talking how much I really love the oils and want other people to get to use them to see how beneficial they can be.

For example, I use an Immunity Roller on my feet every morning. I work in a busy office where a lot of my co-workers have young kids and one of them always seems to be sick. Sometimes our office seems like a petri dish, but I haven’t gotten sick at all this year.

I talked about peppermint oil and I could go on and on about it. I think it is my favorite oil because it can be used in so many things. I have put it in homemade ice cream to make peppermint ice cream. Let me tell you, it was delicious! I have put it in different roller recipes and used it neat on my face and temples when I have had a headache. If there is only one oil that you decide to buy, make it peppermint. You can use it so many ways and the smell is amazing.

I am really happy that I got to talk in the class and share my experiences with the oils because I truly believe they are good for you on your body, in your body, in your home and on your kids or pets. There are so many uses for them and by using them instead of manufactured products you can get some of the toxins that you have in your home out for good.

Happy oiling!
